First Things First: Where to Find Sableye
Sableye is a pretty rare Pokémon, and you’ll only find it in specific locations. The best place to find Sableye is in the Lake of Outrage, a large area to the west of the Hammerlocke Hills. Now, you can find Sableye here, but you can only find it during the night!
If you need a way to find the Lake of Outrage, I’ve got you covered. It’s easy to find if you head west from the Hammerlocke Hills, which you can get to by crossing the Slumbering Weald. You’ll be able to see the Lake of Outrage on your map.
Let’s Talk About the Night
Sableye is only available at night, which means that you’ll need to make sure you’re exploring during the nighttime hours. You can check the time by opening your Y-Comm menu. The game will tell you if it’s currently night or day. If you need to wait, you can just save your game and then switch your console’s clock to the next night to advance the time. You can then reload your save file and catch Sableye.
How to Catch Sableye
Now, once you’ve found a Sableye, it’s time to catch it! Here are some tips to make catching Sableye easier:
Bring a lot of Poké Balls. You’ll likely need a lot of balls before you finally catch Sableye, so be prepared with a good amount. *I recommend Ultra Balls at least*!
Try using a False Swipe. A False Swipe move is really useful when catching Pokémon because it guarantees that you’ll only do a small amount of damage to the Pokémon. This will help you catch Sableye quicker. You can learn False Swipe from the Move Tutor which is located at the Pokémon Center in Hammerlocke. There are a few different Pokémon that can learn this move like Farfetch’d, Scizor, and Staraptor, so choose the one that best suits your team.
Try using a Dusk Ball. Dusk Balls are a great option when trying to catch Pokémon at night. They have a higher catch rate than regular Poké Balls. You can purchase them from the Poké Mart in Hammerlocke.
Use a Pokémon with a high catch rate ability. Some Pokémon, such as Ditto and Cherrim have abilities that increase the catch rate of wild Pokémon. If you have one of these Pokémon on your team, try using them to weaken Sableye before you throw your Poké Ball.
Lower Sableye’s HP. You’ll have a better chance of catching Sableye if its health is low. Try to lower its HP as much as possible, but don’t kill it! This is where the False Swipe will be super helpful.
You might try using a status move to make Sableye weaker. Use a status move like Sleep, Paralysis, or Freeze to get an even higher catch rate. Keep in mind that this might be a bit difficult to do against a Pokémon like Sableye, since it’s a Ghost/Dark-type.
What are Some of the Different Sableye Forms?
Sableye has a unique ability called Prankster, and it can have one of two different forms: Mega Sableye and Giga Sableye. Let’s talk about those!
Mega Sableye is a strong Ghost/Dark-type Pokémon that gains Fairy-type abilities when it mega evolves. Mega Sableye is very strong in battle and can be very useful for your team. However, you have to find a Mega Stone for Sableye to make this happen.
Giga Sableye is a giant and powerful Ghost/Dark-type Pokémon that is a special form of Sableye. It is much stronger than the original Sableye, and has a high attack and defense, making it a great asset to any team. You have to get a special item to make this happen!
Sableye is actually the weakest form of the three, but don’t let that fool you. It has a lot of great moves and can be a really strong attacker and defender.
Why is Sableye So Popular?
Sableye is popular because of its unique design and its ability Prankster, which allows it to use status moves first, even if your opponent goes first. Sableye has a strong attack and defense, making it a strong and versatile Pokémon. Sableye can also learn a variety of moves, including Shadow Sneak, Will-O-Wisp, and Foul Play. This makes it a great option for many different team compositions.
